The implementation of the state program “Digital Kazakhstan” in 2018-2019 brought the country more than $ 1.5 billion, said Prime Minister Askar Mamin.

According to him, the greatest result was achieved in the financial and transport sectors, while it is necessary to continue the introduction of digital technologies in other areas.

The Prime Minister emphasized that digitalization can become the engine of the national economy and the generator of sustainable jobs only when it becomes a mechanism for creating new value.

“In this regard, it is necessary to gradually focus on product innovations. They will become the engine of development and adaptation of new technologies to the economy of Kazakhstan and will allow launching a new wave of created jobs,” said Mamin.

The Head of the Cabinet of Ministers emphasized that further integration of digital technologies is crucial for Kazakhstan to enter the list of 30 most competitive economies in the world.
