Kazakhstan will train blockchain specialists
Kazakhstan plans to train personnel for work in the field of blockchain and financial technologies. It is planned that at least 10,000 such specialists will graduate from Astana International Financial Center (AIFC) by 2025.
According to the AIFC experts, for many companies working on the blockchain, the problem of human resource is still unresolved.
“The industry does not yet bring sky-high revenues, which is why developers simply go to other industries that have already been developed around the world. We do all our best to attract young people to financial technologies and enable even the most ambitious plans, ” said AIFC Managing Director Kairat Kelimbetov.
Applicants will be able to choose one of several areas, among which are blockchain development, investment theory, trading and many more. Students from Kazakhstan will also be offered the opportunity to do an internship in universities of the USA and Europe.
As part of the program, the AIFC made a deal with Bitfury that will provide real projects for practical training of specialists. The most interesting ideas and startups will be able to get grants for their implementation.
