Oleg Molchan was elected the President of CRSEA
On July 3, Oleg Molchan, composer, producer, Chairman of the Copyright Council of the Collective Rights Management Centre of the National Center of Intellectual Property, State Institution (Republic of Belarus), was unanimously elected the President of the Confederation at the meeting of the CRSEA Presidium in Moscow.
“I was the first author in the Republic of Belarus to win a lawsuit against an unscrupulous user of copyright items. I see the development of information cooperation with representatives of national intellectual property spheres as a priority: it is necessary to inform them about the existence of CRSEA, to tell them about us, to interest and to involve proactive representatives of the specialized community in the field of Confederation’s activities. Practical work is also important: it is necessary to involve the best national experts in the implementation of common tasks and goals set by CRSEA”, Oleg Molchan said after the election.
